Horses
Meet the horses that make The Equine Project Possible!!! We have horses available for adoption and foster care (links to our policies and applications below). If you are unable to provide a home for one of these very special horses, you can still help by sponsoring a horse. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how you can make a difference!
Serenity
24 yr old - Bay Quarter Horse
Serenity came to us about 3 years ago when her owner could no longer care for her. She has some old leg injuries (most likely from her rodeo days), so she is unable to be ridden. Although, she has been a great teacher of responsibility and respect.

Dollar 22 yr old - Leopard Appaloosa
We rescued Dollar in 2004. He had the beginning stages of laminitis and also developing moon blindness. He has since become an irreplaceable member of our team. Dollar has worked in our I Can riding program for the impaired, building confidence in people with handicaps. Because of his own limitations, he is able to relate to hurting people in a way that we can’t.

Versailles
Early 30s - Grey Arabian
Versailles was given to us several years ago. She has been an excellent lesson and trail horse. She is retired now with her best friend Carrie. Carrie was mistreated in her younger years and was always waiting for the worst to happen. Versailles has shown Carrie that it is okay to trust people again. Versailles trust and confidence in us shows new rescues that they are safe and no longer have to worry. She is an extremely important part of the rehabilitation process.

Carrie
24 yr old - Chestnut Arabian
Carrie was rescued in 2004. It was very obvious that she had been very mishandled as she has no trust in people. We we told that she has shown at one point. Carrie is well trained and very flashy (now that she is healthy again).
